What needs to get fixed first?

A Focused Business Review is a $97 service where Scott Lucas personally examines one business problem or decision and delivers a private video review with prioritized written next steps. No call is required.

You have a business to run. If you’re overwhelmed by too many tools, unfinished projects, and conflicting advice, it gets harder to know what to do next.

Give me one problem or decision you’re stuck on. I’ll look at what you have, explain what I notice, and tell you what I would address first ... and why.

For owners with a working business ... and work that keeps getting stuck.

Start with what you already have.

01 / SEE THE THINKING

What a useful review looks like.

This is a fictional written demonstration of the review format. It is not a client result or testimonial.

The question

I pay for several tools and still do everything manually.

What the supplied context suggests

The task is preparing replies to repeated customer questions. The examples supplied show the same information being written repeatedly.

What I would address first

Start with approved answers and your existing AI tool. Test five redacted historical questions before buying another subscription.

What still needs checking

This does not establish that the whole customer-service process can be automated. Check accuracy, editing time, and who approves the reply.

The question

I have a CRM, but follow-up still slips.

What the supplied context suggests

In this fictional example, inquiries enter the CRM but no one is assigned to the next action.

What I would address first

Assign an owner and due date to each new inquiry. Test whether your current CRM can surface overdue follow-ups.

What still needs checking

A reminder is only useful if somebody acts on it. Check the handoff before adding an AI agent.

The question

Someone says I need a new platform. Do I?

What the supplied context suggests

The proposed benefit is appointment reminders. No specific limitation of the existing calendar has been identified.

What I would address first

Test the existing reminder settings against one actual appointment process. Write down the missing capability, if there is one.

What still needs checking

If existing reminders meet the requirement, keep them. If they do not, compare alternatives against that specific gap.

TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED HELP WITH

What’s overwhelming you or keeping the work stuck?

Start with one problem. You don’t need to know the cause. Your answers will be emailed to me, then you’ll continue to the $97 checkout. No file downloads or document-sharing setup.

All visible fields are required. You can write “not yet” if you haven’t tried anything.

Submitting details is not a purchase. Work begins only after confirmed payment and complete information. You’ll receive your review within 3 business days after both are in place.

02 / YOUR FOCUSED REVIEW

Focused Business Review

A useful second opinion before you spend more time or money.

Based in Radcliff, Kentucky. Helping business owners in Radcliff, Elizabethtown, and Hardin County, with remote reviews available.

I’m Scott Lucas. My background is in technical support, troubleshooting, and business systems. I personally investigate what you send, record my screen, and talk you through the review. AI may assist my research or help organize information; your review and recommendations come from me. I look at how the work happens, where it gets stuck, and what is worth changing. AI may be part of the answer, but that depends on the problem.

This is a good fit when you have one question about your workflow, software, follow-up, or online business setup and can share enough context for a focused review.

It is not a full business audit, implementation project, security certification, or emergency support service.

  • What I would address first, and why

I review the situation.

After confirming payment, I examine what you provide. If something essential is missing, I’ll email you before the review proceeds.

3

You get a clear next step.

Your video and written priorities arrive by email. Use them yourself or discuss separately scoped help. No sales call required.

03 / WHEN YOU NEED IT HANDLED

Business Operations Support

Ongoing help with one agreed workflow.

When you know the problem needs hands-on work, I can help diagnose it, implement an agreed improvement, document the process, and keep it useful.

We confirm your scope, access, priorities, and start date in writing before enrollment. An FBR is useful when the problem is unclear, but it is not a required purchase.

  • Setup or repair within the agreed monthly scope
  • Testing, approval boundaries, and documentation

What is a Focused Business Review?

A Focused Business Review is a $97 personal assessment of one business problem or decision by Scott Lucas. You receive a private Loom video and prioritized written next steps within three business days of confirmed payment and complete information. Implementation is separate.

What if my question is too big for the $97 review?

I’ll offer a narrower question or a refund before starting. The review covers one focused decision, not an investigation of your entire business.

How do I send my question and supporting details?

The intake form provides room for your explanation. No upload or shared document is required. If I need screenshots or further details, I’ll ask by email. Reply to that message to keep everything together.

Will you fix things during the review?

The review provides an assessment and next steps. Changes, account access, implementation, and ongoing management require a separate written scope.

What if the answer is to keep doing what I’m doing?

That can be a valid recommendation. I’ll explain why the available information supports it and what, if anything, is worth checking next.

What should I avoid sending?

Do not submit passwords, payment details, health information, or private customer records. Use redacted examples and view-only links. Your form answers are processed by FormSubmit and emailed to Scott; FormSubmit retains submissions for up to 30 days. Stripe separately processes payment and checkout contact information. This page does not add you to a marketing list. Do not use it for emergencies or regulated professional advice.

What is the review refund policy?

You’re paying for my professional review time and judgment. You can request a cancellation and refund before I begin reviewing your materials. Once review work begins, the service is nonrefundable, subject to applicable requirements. If your question is unsuitable, we’ll agree on a narrower scope or I’ll refund you before starting. The review does not guarantee a particular finding or business result. The included clarification covers the same question; it is not a new review.
